THE FIRM

Kramer Architects has over 25 years of service to Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia communities — preserving neighborhood aesthetics, rehabbing existing homes, and working with families to alter and improve their living environments. Mark Kramer and the Kramer Architects creative team have an expert sense for how to best adapt a family’s home to new lifestyles — from young couples, to large families, empty nesters, retirees, and everyone in-between.

Mark Kramer started Kramer Architects in 1983 by helping area homeowners develop unique, innovative and creative solutions allowing residents to stay in the homes they love. Kramer Architects always strives to envision homes that are sympathetic to the design, aesthetic and character of the surrounding community. The firm’s designs aspire to enhance original structures with new construction that blends with its original style.
